Dr. Tony S. Bouz received his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences at Pomona, CA. He then completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Riverside University Health in Moreno Valley, California, and is presently pursuing fellowship studies at Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla. Dr. Bouz has received advanced orthopedic training and is familiar with the latest technologies. He provides patient-centered care that is focused on safely returning his patient to their normal activities and sports.

Compliment activation versus suppression and its role in spinal cord injury recovery. Assisted Dr. Aileen Anderson at UC Irvine in analyzing cross sections of injured spinal cords in mice, which were introduced to varying levels of compliment protein. Purpose was to analyze the contribution of individual inflammatory complement proteins to spinal cord injury pathology and recovery (June-August 2013)
